Defense is an attitude many times and I didn't like what I saw from SK Friday. Dixie punched them in the mouth and they didn't punch back.

What else would SK be preparing for but the run?? All Dixie does is run. They throw the ball less than 10 times a game.

I know a lot of the posts here are kind of directed at uk#1fan, he does bring a lot on himself, but this isn't about him. It's about two good football teams competing in a "crunch time" game. Dixie proved the better team last night, celebrate a day or two then it's time to forget about SK and concentrate on Ryle. This Dixie win over SK will not impress Ryle, the Colonels better be ready to finish the deal next week or Ryle will come away with the W.

Dixie played great but their lack of a passing game will catch up to them in the playoffs. Would love to see a rematch down the road between these two. In the game I cited, Campbell won the first one at SK and SK adjusted to them for the playoff game.

I couldn't agree more. Watched several so called leaders of that defense walk off the field hanging their heads and that was in the first quarter.

No. It was much closer and the defense didn't give up huge runs but Durham had 5-8 yards a carry and marched up and down the field at will.

Dixie ran up the middle for big yards and Moore had the edge all night. Looked to me SK was trying to stop Moore around the end.

Moore averaged nearly 10 yards per carry. Unacceptable for a defense that prides itself on being one of the best around. Some of those guys (not all) need to take a long look in the mirror and decide if they're playing for 'we' or 'me'.

I would love nothing more than for Ryle to shock Dixie and create a 3-way tie. But there is NO WAY that will happen. Ryle proved that SK was overrated in their match-up a few weeks ago. Not many wanted to believe that until last night proved it! No, Ryle won't beat Dixie!

The wheels would LITERALLY have to come off the Dixie bus on the way to Ryle for the Raiders to compete with the Colonels. Ryle gave a teeny tiny peek at SK's vulnerability - Dixie pulled the curtain completely off the rods. Dixie crushed the Camels, Ryle beat them in OT. Dixie could win by more than 5 TD's over Ryle easily.

Oh how short your memory is. For weeks leading up to last night, we listened to the same garbage from you. What makes you think things will be better for you in a few weeks? Tempering your comments and hoping it's not worse in the playoffs might be prudent.
