Ryle will be ready to play and Dixie is floating on cloud 9... could be a recipe for disaster if Dixie walks into that game thinking all they have to do is show up.

I think the chances of Dixie overlooking Ryle are about 0%. The Dixie players I have spoken to know how big next week is and are looking forward to the game. Coach Brossart will have them ready.

We might not show up to our own home game. I think our kids are scared of super Dixie. We better just pack it in and forfeit. Wait on second thought we probably will show up. Be fired up and come out swinging.

The Ryle game for Dixie is obviously a big one, the emotional letdown from such a big win over SK has to be a concern for Dave and the coaches...

 

I guess this could be called a "trap" game for Dixie but again now that they are top dog in 6A they have the distinct honor of wearing the target...:thumb:

I don't think this will be an emotional let down for Dixie at all. I think they know Ryle almost and probably should have beat SK and that they will have their hands full Friday. This will be interesting to see how Dixie's DLine handles England.

Not sure where it is played and yes England is their RB. He may be the best RB in NKY. He spent the first half of the season recovering from a groin pull so saw limited time. He is back full strength now and is tearing it up. Not sure what he did Fri night but I think I heard he had over 200 yds last week.

That would explain the slow start for Ryle and the big surprises the last few weeks with regards to scores.

 

Looking at the records and opponents that Ryle has played and won vs loss is interesting. Ryle appears to have played a very good schedule to date with really no cupcakes.

Just a question HB, would the outcome of the Cooper game been any different had England been able to play?

England did play,, he just was not a factor. Even though he has had some success over the past two weeks,, IMO he is playing out of position. I have seen this kid play since pee wee and he is not a running back. I think he is an athletic kid who would have more success at TE. That would put him against a LB in pass coverage or a safety that he would outmatch with his size.

What's lucky is SK having 3 fumbles and only loosing 1. Which was returned for a TD.
