Here's a question: Is Trinity the least talented team in the Super District?

 

If they are anything but the least talented team in the Super District, outside of Manual, can we then say that their two losses to Male and their loss last night to X indicate that the superior coaching we've heard about for the past couple of years has really just been a product of superior talent?

 

If they are the least talented team in the Super District, how have they let the other three pass them by?

It's not easy being green...

It doesn't answer the question but I will say this, I wouldn't count T out this year.

 

On a side note, Trinity needs to back down on their beast schedule, it is too hard on everyone involved unless you have top tier national talent and the Rocks don't have that right now.

Why is it "too hard on everyone involved?"

 

They went 4-2 against a pretty tough schedule. They don't have a significant number of injuries because of it and got some tough playing experience against very good teams. The home games drew huge crowds, which means revenue. It certainly benefited them more than playing any of the non-Super District 6-A teams from Louisville would have.

 

The only way it can be perceived as a bad thing is if you think they lost to St. X because of playing such a tough schedule. I don't think that was the case.

We can debate this and you definitely bring up some excellent points but at the end of the day T lost to X and that game is more important than all the others so far put together.

I just don't get continuing with this scheduling. As I said on another thread, who is it for, the players or the coaches. When half of your games are out of town, what is the fun of football wins when you are on a bus instead of with friends, family, and teammates.

We ran into a perfect storm (no pun), last night.....no more, no less......we'll be just fine....don't anyone be concerned.....just fine.

I'm not in the "know" in any way, shape, or form...but is that still the case? Trinity really can't find anyone in the state to play them? Is it more they just don't want to play anyone in the state?
