Frankfort Panthers will travel 1002 miles to Naples Florida to take on the First Baptist Academy Lions. First Baptist Academy is a private school that plays 2A football in Florida. The school has been in existence since 1996. They have played football for 8 years. During this time they have been able to will their Region in 2012 and have won their District in 2012 and 2013. Currently in 2014 they are 2-2 on the season and 1-0 in district play. FBA currently has 50 man roster with 15 seniors.

FBA runs a base 4-3 defense and a pro style offense. They are averaging 32 points per game while only giving up 17 points per game on defense.

Frankfort coming off a win over LCA Friday has improved their record to 4-1 on the season. Another week the Panthers will be short handed. But hopefully they understand they still can compete with the young guys stepping up.

Frankfort main purpose of the trip is to of course play a football game. But while they are on the trip the have several college visits planned for the team. They will travel to University of Florida, University of South Florida, and Florida Gulf Coast. Also this will be an experience that several kids on the team may never have again, I know of several kids on the team that have never seen the ocean.

I think this is a great opportunity for these young men, safe travels to all.

........and bring home a victory. :thumb:

Coach Craig Foley and his staff have done a great job rebuilding Frankfort football. They have been able to play consistently at a high level in a very small school. Congratulations to Craig and his staff for doing a great job coaching their kids and building their program over a long period of time. :thumb:

This is so cool. Great for them.

Safe travels. Get the ole' DUB and have the time of your lives. Talk about a trip that these young men will never forget!

What a great trip for the kids! Good luck in the game and have safe travels.

Staying at the Pink Shell Resort top notch place!

How come we never see any other KY travel like this? I always thought there was some kind of KHSAA rule or something.

I will share pics soon. Panthers have arrived at the University Of Florida this am!

Coach Buckett, I think this great for the kids and school!

Not sure what FBA looks like, but hope Panthers bring home the Victory!
