Not only do you go on vacation but, getting to visit a College campus like UF and USF is phenomenal ,also as stated early there are kids who this is once in a live time for... Foley and staff out did themselves with this trip.

It was always a dream of the coaches wife since we have a 3 week fall break. Coach Foley was having hard time finding a game spotted this on a website and replied. It was all wishful thinking in the beginning. The price tag was way out of our reach. The Coach Foley and staff went to work raising money. The Frankfort community came together and donated.

 

So a big thank you to the Frankfort Community!

FBA have 3 all state players on the roster.

How come we never see any other KY travel like this? I always thought there was some kind of KHSAA rule or something.

There are a lot of Kentucky baseball teams that go to Florida for a week every year. There are a lot of Kentucky Basketball teams that travel all over the Eastern United States for Holiday Tournaments. Volleyball teams, cheerleading competitions, the list goes on.

Although my question didn't state it, I meant in reference to Football. Those other sports are different as you can play multiple games in one day or over a few days. Football doesn't allow for that.

 

Can you think of a KY school that has traveled substantial distance to play a football game? Usually the teams have come to KY.
