frankdracman23 Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Even worse only these Reds will qualify for the Batting Title (502 Plate Appearances Needed) .276 Frazier .250 Hamilton .224 Cozart .214 Bruce I know the Big red Machine ain't walking thru the door but geez has it ever been this bad?
formerkywrestler Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 The entire MLB is way down. Not THAT down...
CincySportsFan Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 And another amazing stat is that while Frazier is #1 on the team in walks, the second place guy is......................... Joey Votto. Yep, a guy who played only 62 games is right behind a guy who's played nearly 100 more games.
plantmanky Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 This team went on allstar break and never camp back. #firethemall
Jumper_Dad Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Just found out I have a hook up for tickets next season.....I'm Ready :bag:
CincySportsFan Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 This team went on allstar break and never camp back. #firethemall Fire the mall? What'd it ever do to you? :idunno:
NEERFAN Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Some sad stats indeed. Likely won't even have an 80 Rbi guy.
malachicrunch Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 The entire MLB is way down. Really? First response is a justification?
LRCW Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Meso is also at .276. I assume you left him off because he doesn't have enough AB's to qualify if he were competing for a batting title, but then again that's another problem with the Reds.
plantmanky Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Fire the mall? What'd it ever do to you? :idunno: You could pull 9 random people from the mall, (3 of them being kids) and get higher averages than the Reds have.
HammerTime Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Really? First response is a justification? What am I justifying? Just stating a fact. The batting title is going to be won by a guying hitting under .320. The NL has six guys batting over .300. Not a shock that the Reds leader is in the .270s when they lost their best hitter for the majority of the season.
JBCousins Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 HammerTime is right. Not sure exactly what it is but the league average (just looking at the team averages) is in the .250's. Runs, HR's, average...everything is way down this year.
