When does a snap officially occur-------when the center begins to move the ball or when it clears his hand?

You're completely removing the human element out of the equation. An official can't be looking at the both the clock and the snap.

If it's that close look at the replay!! Seriously! I will walk that losers limp all the way to the house if I'm the end of a screwjob all day everyday. With all those tv cameras replay should have been viewed. No need for the human element. :thumb:

Anyway, I enjoyed the game. Not much into moral victories but I do live in reality.

There is no replay on that, thus, the human element.

Doubt it's reviewable

Not an official but...my guess is when the ball first moves because that's when the players can legally move. I am guessing that's why Periera said the call was correct. He said the "snap started."

It's was a bad break but didn't cost uk the game. Tillers missed int and Timmons drop beat uk

Not really, they would have gotten 4th down over.

Your right my bad. How's that work in OT with no clock? Figured it be a turn over on downs but I'm probally wrong.

I'm so sad

Really like Towles. First time I've felt good about a UK QB since Woodson (or Cobb if you count him). He is a winner and really stood in there and made plays. Threw some picks but the QBs the Cats have plays since Woodson would have went conservative and not have given UK a chance to win the game.

Receiving corp had some drops but man there is some talent out there. Young and inexperienced but wow. RBs are electric. Need a better OL to make it all work but the line isn't awful.

UK needs more size on defense at LB. Had trouble stopping UF's ground game which is not as good as many in the SEC.

Secondary could play better to and I expect they will. Would rather UK be where their at now in year two than where UF is. Florida may win enough to keep Muschamp who doesn't seem to be the answer.

Tough to mess with a formula for success. UF has been known for high scoring offense under Spurrier and Meyer. Muschamp would be fine winning 1-0 if it were possible.

Two biggest plays.

5 yard penalty. Replay the down.

I agree with the no call, but unless he had a better view than what was shown on tv, there is no way that he could know that the snap had actually started.

That's the way I interpreted it from Periera. If that is the case, when the ball begins moving, then he probably beat the clock. It was really really close. No way will they call it delay if that close. Regardless, make the defensive play and take the opps when they occur.

If not, Peyton Manning would have 10 delay of game calls, each game.
