Not sure what the suspension will end up looking like, but don't expect Ray Rice to pay this season. A contender will pick him up next season.

September 8, 201412 yr Nah, if he is out of the league for a year, there will be teams that will kick the tires. This is a league of second chances, etc. We're just a tearful press conference and a year of soul-searching/contrition from 2015 NFL Comeback Player of the Year talk.
