Do the Ravens now cut Rice? Not a good situation.

PR nightmare if they don't. No way to defend associating with Ray Rice after today.

If they had already seen the video prior, I don't think the release of it will cause them to let Ray go.

Sure hope the NFL doesn't try and come out and say they didn't see the video because I'd about guarantee thats a lie.

He's got to go...Period, no other way around it.

Owners need to put Commish under a microscope after this. If he saw this (as reported) and went with two games...he has to go also, owners can't have confidence that he'll do the right thing in a situation like this where the integrity of the league is at stake.

Listening to Mike and Mike on the way in to work this morning and they had some idiot (even Mike Golic called the guy an idiot and moron) emailed in trying to defend Ray Rice saying "It wasn't the punch that knocked out his Fiance, it was when she hit her head on the railing" As if that makes it ok what Ray did. Terhe are some people out there that wouldn't have a clue if you tried to hand it to them.

His career needs to be over. No NFL team will want him after this. As for Goodell, if he saw this and only gave two games. Then his job needs to be under close watch as well.

Funny that TMZ released the video. I have a hard time believing ESPN didn't see it first.

I think the commissioner should be fired over this.

New video from inside elevator shows Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice punching then-fiancée | Fox News

The last sentence in this article says that the NFL did see this video.

On another note, this woman actually married Rice after this incident. What an idiot!

She apparently was doing the Johnny Football money sign as she walked up the aisle.

Watching the video again, I didn't notice the first time about the spitting but now that it was brought up it is clear he spit on her in the lobby and in the elevator, what a piece of garbage he is.

Funny that TMZ released the video. I have a hard time believing ESPN didn't see it first.

I'm in the camp that there's no way the NFL didn't see this video before today... And now that it's been made public, yikes.

@LeCharlesBent65: NFL players want to stand up for some "stuff", don't play against Ravens until Rice is suspended indefinitely. What if that was YOUR daughter?

Seen that "if" the NFL didn't see the video and Rice claimed he didn't hit her than they can reopen the case.

If the NFL did see it and Goodell only suspended 2 games then he may be in trouble as well.

One way or another this isn't going to end well at all.

Only problem with that is I'd imagine he is far from the only current NFL player to hit a woman. Just the only one on camera.

I'm with Wireman... If Goodell saw this video, he needs to lose his job.
