DeSales 37 Warren Central 12

Featured Replies

After an even first quarter the game was pretty well dominated by DeSales. They began to establish the run game in the second, but the biggest play of the night was a pass. It was a long TD pass as the first half was winding down to give the Colts a 10-0 lead. With DeSales opening the second half with the ball, it gave them the chance to really take control and they did so, moving to a 17-0 lead quickly to open the second and that was mostly that.

As a Dragon fan, this was a shattering disillusionment.

I consider the final score a big surprise. Do others feel that way too? Or am I missing something?

2A stand at attention....the very clear cut #1 team

I'm not surprised but I wouldn't have been surprised if Central had won by the same score. I was expecting DeSales to win though.

After seeing WC a couple of weeks ago I'm shocked. Desales must be the real deal. Heck , I thought they'd give BG a heck of a game this year.

Guess I just thought this would be a really good game.

Pick 10 picks were solidly with Warren Central

Statement win by the Colts.

They still may... Don't pencil it in as a BG win yet. The game has to be played. It is a rivalry game so you never know what may happen.

No chance. And you can take this and pin it in Central's locker room. BG will win that game.

I disagree... I am not penciling it in as a Dragon win, but this team will be unpredictable this year due to learning a new system. Some games they will look like a top 5 team, and some games they won't... They have the talent to beat anyone in the State. There will be changes made and positions rotated... You learn more from a loss then you do a win, and Central learned a lot tonight. Central is the more talented team and Bowling Green executes better. It will be one for the books IMO...

I am surprised at this. Not so much that Desales won but by how much. I picked the Dragons, but clearly underestimated Desales and especially their D. I think that is the key against WC. You need tonget oressure on Shanklin and it takes their offense out of rhythm. I think Desales did that tonight.

BOLD Statement DT

Congrats, Colts.
