Greg Rose did not do play by play in recent years unless I missed something. He kind of did it the first year he did the announcing but after that he announced the game and that was it. I am assuming the new announcer will do the same thing.

With the temperature forecasted to be above 90 tomorrow does this game start on time or get moved to Saturday morning?

I would bet the game time gets pushed back to 7:30 p.m. as many of the local games have been doing.

Just saw Coach Lickert at City BBQ in Higland Heights. He's already got his game face on.

I've been looking forward to this game for a year now. Flying those HHS colors off the back deck in site of the Camels new digs (awesome complex by the way). I just wish they would have put the scoreboard on the other end of the field.

 

Finally we get to see what Watson has. Talked to him today and he's chomping at the bit. Hopefully he'll get some carries. Also looking forward to seeing what the junior class has to offer. Got some personal favorites in that class... Cain, Kendall, Doherty, New and others. Good luck to both teams. I've coached kids on both sides and looking forward to seeing them play. Hope Carson has a good game... Just not too good of one... Having some pre-game at the house and then the long "walk" to the game.

Agreed, that would really diminish the whole Friday nite home field advantage imo and Lickert aint giving that up

 

And the way Highlands has been bottled up the last two weeks I would say Weinrich has no interest either so if it can be played tonite it will be:thumb:

No, I wasn't aware....going to be great to see the birds top dl in awhile against, from recent memory, one of CCs best lines in the last 5 years. Going to be closer than what the pundits profess. If not, I'm buying a cold beverage on me Sweep at next years Dixie-Highlands game! :thumb: If birds win by less than 17, beverage on you based on that confidence of yours.
