August 21, 201412 yr And he is the "Man on the ground" telling the story from Ferguson! Clueless may be taking it too easy on him.
August 21, 201412 yr I had gone a couple days without any updates on the situation in MO. I turned on the news networks to get updated and couldn't take that guy anymore. He is definitely part of the problem.
August 21, 201412 yr I saw supposedly former radical and 9/11 Truther Van Jones on other side. There are definitely agenda-driven groups using the situation.
August 21, 201412 yr Unfortunately alot of people hear this snd don't know who to believe. Yep. And then walls are put up and discussion is stifled.
August 22, 201412 yr Nope. He's in a class by himself. He seems like a nice guy. Not very bright when it comes to guns...but nice.
August 22, 201412 yr Is everyone here blasting him because he didn't know the difference between automatic and semi-automatic?
August 22, 201412 yr Is everyone here blasting him because he didn't know the difference between automatic and semi-automatic? Good, bad or indifferent, most people who "don't know the difference" are roundly dismissed on this site, whether they have a good point or not. That "TV Guest No. 1" in the interview doesn't know the difference doesn't change the fact that there's a problem. It's just that he can't articulate the problem when you distill it down to different models of firearms. Should every person commenting on gun control issues have an expertise in firearms to have an opinion on what firearms are doing in their community? The problem is bigger than knowing the difference between a .22 and a 30-06, and the discussion shouldn't stop there. Too much silly disconnect.

That's the silly disconnect, that and the stupid lies and fear mongering that is spread constantly. People should at the very least be educated before they start spouting lies and myths, and that's exactly what that side of the argument does. Guns aren't the problem, criminal behavior and mental illness is the problem, but that doesn't fit their narrative and doesn't push their agenda.
August 22, 201412 yr Author Is everyone here blasting him because he didn't know the difference between automatic and semi-automatic?That and that he claimed he did know and then flat out lied.
