I'm sure Randy has been too busy avoiding Getsl...eh...Scur Farkus to have any BTS whining.

Heh. I'm happy school is starting again; I haven't taken Randy's milk money in months.

Co workers yesterday were talking about the "LIST" of supplies their kids need for school. OMG, seriously all this stuff cant be needed.

Back in the old days, the only things needed were a pen, a pencil, a notebook, and a red apple for the hot teacher.

Mrs. TAC is whining because both of her babies will be off to college. I'm doing the happy dance in anticipation of walking around the house naked all day. Kinda looking forward to being a temporary empty nester.

The Boys have already planned out the first 3 weekends with the welcome back to school parties. It appears the "foam party" in Memphis is top rated and the oldest will head down to hang with the youngest for a weekend.

Doesn't start till next week for us in OH and we always get out before NKY.

No longer an aspect of my life and I'm not going to miss it! One leaves for WKU Friday, the other leaves for U of L Wednesday. They can whine all they want now.

I'm thrilled. I have a daughter that's a Sophomore at UL, and two boys, one a Senior and one a Freshman. My daughter left for sorority stuff this week, and with the boys starting today, I now have my quiet home office back. I have the ability to mostly work from home, but it's tough to do with the kids around, so I often end up at my office downtown to have peace and quiet. This time next year, I'm down to one left, so there is light at the end of my tunnel. I'm not a parent that's gets sentimental or cries over my kids growing up. I'm excited to see what lies ahead for them and for them to make their own way in the world. I'll miss them, but am looking forward to some alone time with the Mrs.

My step daughter was near melt down mode this morning at 6am. She had to leave to catch the school bus, she ran out of hair spray and that one piece of hair wasn't cooperating. Good grief, boys are so much easier. Get up, shower and throw on some shorts and a t-shirt...

Woke DLG 2.0 up at 6:15 this morning before I left for work, wife calls me an hour later to say she just dropped her off up on the "hill", 45 minutes before school starts, seems she couldn't wait to get there.

P.S......Don't see this happening at all with 3.0 :lol2:

Was going to "like" it but first I had to edit. :lol2:

Note to self: DO NOT visit TAC during the week day.

I have a few friends that walk up to the back door, I advised them not to.
