If I am Stewart, I reach out to that family and let them know I am sorry the accident happened. That is just the right thing to do. Of course, if Tony doesn't care and has animosity towards Ward then he has to keep his mouth shut and stay away. As to the lawsuit side of this, I bet a genuine apology and expression of condolences and concern would be better for Tony's side of the case than not saying a word.

He's getting sued, no doubt, nothing he can do to stop that. As far as calling the family, dumbest thing he could do right with a criminal investigation going on. Like it was said already...anything he says could be used against him in a civil court, maybe even criminal court.

In the slowed down version it looks like he is holding onto the wing on the opposite side of the car from the camera. Then was drug along for a while before getting ran over.

August 19, 201412 yr It may be blurry, but to me it looks like Ward definitely went after Stewart's car, and it looks like he reached out for the car. So to me, hooked or grabbed, Ward caused it.
