Impressive for a freshman. 3000 points seems to be on the horizon. Is 6'0'' accurate?

Methinks you are correct. Bright things ahead for the young man.

Thanks for posting this papa. Kids definitly gat a bright future.

I would have guessed Austin to be around 6'1" or 6'2", but I'm not the best at guessing height.

Absolutely love watching the young man play. He has outstanding handles, and even though he's right handed, he's probably at his best when driving to the lane with his left hand. He's a little bit John Wall-esque in that regard. I think Austin's biggest offensive strength is driving to the hole & getting an easy layup or drawing a foul. You can tell how accomplished he is offensively by how much time he spends at the charity stripe. Great scorers typically shoot a lot of free throws.

Crawford is also an outstanding shooter from 17 feet in. He can attack like he's going to the basket and then stop on a dime, pull up, and hit that mid-range jumper with consistency. Additionally, Austin possesses tremendous athleticism. He's a great rebounder and shot blocker, considering he's a point guard.

Where I would like to see him improve is with his 3-point shot. He can hit the 3 and isn't afraid to shoot it, but that area of his offensive game is where the most improvement is needed IMO.

Defensively he is good, but he's not quite the lock-down defender that his older brother Grant was. Austin is capable of guarding multiple positions because of his length and athleticism.

I know he's just going to be a sophomore, but this is the most talented kid to wear the Bracken County uniform that I have seen. As an 8th grader, he was Bracken County's most talented player. As a freshman last year, he was the 10th Region's #2 scorer behind Brent Bach.

I highly recommend you watch Crawford this year and in the years to come. You will not be disappointed.

Pretty much everyone looks tall when you're seven.

Or 36 too. :lol2:

Other team falls for the ol' "act like you are going to the wrong basket to start the half" play.

Well said Mr. Parker. Can't wait till the season starts.

The young man looks impressive!!! I was surprised to see someone say that he was a PG, I think I only remember seeing him dish it off once in the video, looks more like a 2 guard to me.

He is for sure one of my favorite players in the 10th!

Great kid from a great family!

Best of luck to him and the Bears.

He can play either spot, but he's definitely a point guard & an outstanding one at that. However, he has to shoulder a lot of the scoring load at Bracken County, so he does his fair share of shooting.

Somewhere out there I can here Adam Reed saying, "Now just a minute, boys."
