Austin Crawford (Bracken County) Mixtape

I knew Jimmy Dale was old, but dang. I should be beating the tar out of him in golf.

Love that guy...grew up with his kids while he and dad played softball together.

Played a lot of softball against Jimmy Dale. Here is my Jimmy Dale story. He was a big left handed hitter that pitchers hated him coming to the plate. I tell the story that Jimmy Dale hit a line drive between my legs that hit off the center field fence. He was a great hitter.

Polarbear 98, you seem to know more about Bracken County than anyone else on this board. Tell me how it came about that Bracken decided to come to Knott to play on Dec. 5. After reading and watching Austin play I am looking forward to your trip to the mountains. In a car I believe you are about 45 minutes from Mount Sterling and then it's about 2 hours to Hindman. Add at least 30 minutes on a school bus so you are talking about 3 and 1/2 hours from Bracken. That's a tough trip. Do you have any idea why Bracken scheduled this game? Connections? Relationships?

I believe the new coach of the Polar Bears has a connection/relationship with someone there.

While I appreciate your kind words I would say there are many more ppl that know more about Bracken than I. I just relay info that I get from different sources. Some is spot on while some is way off. I've got pretty good relationships with the some of the parents and there are a lot of good ppl associated with the team. With that said I am already planning my trip to the mountains :thumb: I've heard a lot about the KCC gym and look foward to seeing it in person. You are correct it will be about 3 hours 15 min one way maybe 3 hours flat if I can keep mrs. pb98 off my back about the speed limit :lol2:

:idunno: I do not know the reasoning behind this trip. I don't really think eithier team will benifit from it a whole lot. KCC is on a whole other level that my polar bears and Bracken is so young this season. I'd have to agree with opie there are probally some ties to coach Miles, but I don't know anything definitive.:idunno: I've also heard that it's a two yr deal with KCC coming to Brooksville next season.

Eithier way it will be fun to watch a great team in KCC and getting to go to the mountains will be a bonus :thumb: And if Bracken could somehow pull off the upset it will give us a thread on here to talk about for some time.

If all goes as planned and mrs. pb98 and junior get to go were are going to make the trip and I hope to finally get a chance to meet some BGPers that reside in the mountains. Who knows when I'll find myself in that area again.

I'm hearing Adam is on staff this year, anyone else hearing that.

I heard just today that he will indeed be the freshman coach. Just hear say but usually what this person tells me is right on.
