uk#1fan
I heard Kuntz is now up to 210 pounds. It should be interesting to see if he battles for the starting QB spot.

75center
I'm really going to try to make a game this fall as I'd love to see how our local guys are doing and I understand TMC has a nice program going on out there.
rjs4470
If you are paying tuition, they got a spot for you. Almost 10% of the student body is on the football roster. Most won't still be on the roster as seniors. Football is an enrollment driver at many D3 schools. In a lot of ways, it's tougher to earn a spot at a D3 school than a D1 school. KYgentleman25
Like what was said above, if you pay tuition they will find a spot for you. Being on a DIII team does not take much, but actually getting any playing time is a whole different story. Same goes for playing all four years. There are some extremely talented kids on this team and DIII teams all over the country. I heard TMC will usually bring in around 80 to 100 freshman a year. I just count around 90. If there are 30 left three years from now that will be a good number.

Getting playing time and being engaged yearly will be a key.

I hope I'm missing your point but at face value, may be the craziest thing I've read on here all year. I think his point was that at D3 schools they let anybody that wants to try out, at D1 schools its pretty much invite only (either by scholarship or walkon invite) which limits the number of football players total. IE D1 school has 85 scholarships, 30 walk ons = 115 kids trying to get to the field D3 school has 0 scholarships, 160+ kids that want to play, odds are harder to get on the field. Then it would only be harder to get on the field if you weren't a good football player, right? A kid like Kuntz will get on the field quicker at TMC than he would have at WKU. Same is true for most of those guys. The quicker path to PT is at a D3, if not, go D1 and tryout. Don't get me wrong, glad we have someplace for these to continue playing after HS but let's not think that D3 is anything more than that.
