I know the Red Sox have had Lester and Nomo in recent years, and I'm thinking Buckholz. I can't think of another pitcher. Varitek?

Ding ding ding!

Could a player ever lead his league in homers and yet have a lower batting average that season than the CY Young Award winner? Yes, because that's exactly what I did. Who am I ?

My bad. I combined the last two questions. I thought Science Friction had asked who the 1st player to lead his league in HR's, but have a lower batting average than the Cy Young winner.
