I'm headed to the Ville tomorrow to buy some stuff at the Championship shops when they open and then I will be there for the practice round Wed and Championship Sunday!

A guy that I work with qualified for entry into the US Mid-Am Tournament this past week. The tournament runs from Saturday, September 6th through Thursday, September 11th – with the winner likely receiving an invitation to play in the 2015 Masters! Not too shabby for an accountant!

Next time a big golf tourney like this is in town, I may have to check it out...

I was there for the Wednesday practice round in 1996. Had a great time, even though it was about a hundred in the shade.

I saw the Friday (I think) round in 96, the day Jack and Tiger played together. Crowds were crazy. It was an awesome experience, though.

Getting crazy in Louisville. PGA officials are all over the place in cars marked with official PGA emblems. Yesterday a huge 18 wheeler pulled next to me with Ping graphics on it. Going to a nice restaurant will require a wait soon. Bars will be packed that weekend.

I thought about heading down but would only be able to make Saturday or Sunday and that would break the bank according to prices I heard.
