August 4, 201412 yr Author I'm so excited and I've never seen the wife so excited about a sporting event as much as she is about this week. We went Saturday and bought some things at the shops (shirt, hats, poster, couple flags etc.) and as we were walking back to the car she said she wished it was Wednesday already. We also both took Rockmom up on the 2015 SR PGA Championship and volunteered for that also yesterday. So we will be there for the entire event in French Lick in May. We can't wait! Mentsch, I'm challenging you to also volunteer for the 2015 SR PGA Championship. I know NKU is thinking about it, we need to get a big BGP group of volunteers for that tournament!!!! BGP Take over the Championship week! I'm still a kid at heart when it comes to PGA Golfers and I will be trying to get some autographs on one of the flags I bought at Wed's practice round, you can find me perched out at the practice tee's.

August 4, 201412 yr I just Sold a couple tickets to a good friend for Sundays Championship round and now have Sellers remorse. I called a buddy in the Ville who is connected and he assured me he CAN score me a couple VIP tix for the final round. Wannamaker Club Access as well. Pumped

This is also my first PGA event. As far as volunteers, They do all different types of things. Yea, it makes sense, this way they don't have to pay for all the people needed to put an event on and on top of that they make money because the word volunteer is just that, a word, you actually do have to pay to be a volunteer. I think it's well worth the experience myself. For instance the SR PGA will cost a volunteer $130, but you also get enough things and perks (including a round of golf on the course with cart included) that make it well worth it. Plus entry for the entire week.
