I honestly don't know. I was wondering if this might have an effect on what was in 2012 a HUGE gender gap. And if a female candidate would be more effective re. this particular issue than a male candidate.

Is the President more likable than Mrs Clinton? I'd say yes by a ton, she isn't going to automatically get his votes.

Individuals should pay for what they want. It is not the place of a business or government to provide every little item I want. A person works for a wage and purchases their needs and wants with their earnings. For the few who need help there are all sorts of private agencies and organizations out there to provide aid. Maybe you could help by assisting one of these organizations. There are some of today's American's who need to learn a little "Rugged Individualism".

Your right ? How is it your right to force someone else to pay for a product for you ? This whole argument is anti intelligent . There was no war on women's health, until this terrible law was passed no employee was forced to pay for a womans contraceptives. There is no legitimate reason to force another human to buy you a product. .I'm Actually shocked by the lack of intelligence by some posters flaming hyperbole .

Do you understand what "rights" mean. It can't be a right if it infringes on other peoples rights. Last time I checked relgious freedom was in the constitution. The right to contraceptives wasn't. .

I'm confused how they are being singles out anymore than the employer who the government tried to force to ignore their relgious belief. I'm really questioning liberals who trumpet seperation of church and state only when it suits them.

Women are singled out in the decision but then again the question has been asked why contraceptives have been singled out as a right.

The question is one of constitutional rights - not how people who have no understanding of those rights feel. Nobody has a constitutional right for the government to seize money from somebody else to purchase a product for them that they are free to purchase with their own money.

 

The issue is the dishonesty of critics of this decision who repeatedly state that the decision will deprive women of their "right" to free contraception. The number of people who seem to have no problem with such blatant dishonesty in their elected leaders is shocking - and this is not a case where the use of dishonest tactics is even in question.

 

For a large segment of the American electorate, ethics no longer seem to matter as long as lies are disseminated to secure free stuff for them.
