Are we saying single women would be the only consumers of a morning after abortion drug? That is what the ruling was about - drugs that cause abortion - not general contraceptive drugs.

 

Would or could married women use these drugs? Biologically the drug will know if a woman is married or single. If a married woman used it - and did not tell her husband would that be some sort of martial fraud? Can a 'single' woman with a committed mate - a lot of committed couples are not getting married nowadays - deceive her mate in the same manner?

 

It seems that identifying this 'class' of a potential lawsuit characterizes single woman as promiscuous, careless and uncommitted since they are outside of marriage. And assume 'married' women would never be a consumer due their assumed responsibility - and role of parent - even though many married couples choose to be childless.

 

I did hear a comment about 'single' women being the key voting block for big government Dems going forward since long term single women want the government to be their fill in spouse. Not saying I agree with it but it is what they commentators said in a political discussion related to this. Clearly they are considered a bloc that is a key demographic. So I guess the mantra of 'war on women' as a political mantra has taken its place next to the race card in politics and will be with us for long time.

The reality is that we are surrounded with voters who wake up every morning and rationalize the lies of the people for whom they vote. When voters refuse to hold the government accountable for ignoring the Constitution and laws that have been found constitutional, then they endanger all of our freedoms.

 

Such voters should concern themselves with actual constitutional rights instead of repeating the lies of political hacks like Nancy Pelosi who speak of the imaginary right for you to help yourself to other people's money. No such right exists.

 

For a large segment of the American electorate, ethics no longer seem to matter as long as lies are disseminated to secure free stuff for them.

 

Let's be clear, both sides are liars. The poor want stuff. The rich want more stuff. They all want to knwo where their stuff is.

I am not in the camp that believes all politicians lie or that the sheer volume or subject of the lies does not matter. A politician telling a mother that her ugly baby is pretty is one thing, but a politician telling a voter that they are rightfully entitled to have somebody else pay for an abortion or morning after pill is a lie on another level.

 

There are rich people who become richer by conspiring with crooked politicians to land lucrative federal contracts and bailouts for failed businesses. Some of them are Republicans and some of them are Democrats. Both the politicians and the businesses involved in crony capitalism deserve to lose very bit of property that they have managed to accumulate.

 

My point is that there seems to be more conservatives who take issue with the dishonest politicians in the Republican Party than there are liberals who take issue with Democratic serial liars like Obama, Hillary, Reid, and Pelosi. Why is that the case?

 

The Tea Party movement was founded largely in response to the disgust people felt toward the bipartisan lies that they were being fed during the financial crisis that began in 2008. The reaction to the movement has been nothing but scorn from both establishment Republicans and Democrats. The number of liberals demanding more integrity in their leaders seems very small in comparison.

One of the criticisms of Hobby Lobby by the medical community is that there's no scientific proof that Plan B, Ella, ParaGard or Mirena are abortifacients and not contraceptives. In other words, the five same-faith justices simply chose to accept the evangelical explanation rather than the scientific explanation. Bad precedent.

My point is that there seems to be more conservatives who take issue with the dishonest politicians in the Republican Party than there are liberals who take issue with Democratic serial liars like Obama, Hillary, Reid, and Pelosi. Why is that the case?

The Supreme Court's job is not to judge the religious beliefs of American citizens. Its job is to protect our rights to practice religion as we choose, provided that it does not infringe upon the constitutional rights of others. Contraception is not a constitutional right and getting somebody else to pay for your contraceptive needs is most definitely not a constitutional right.

Revisit the GOP platform hammered out in '12 before the national convention. Then ask yourself whether said platform is female-friendly.
