SOA is a good show but Breaking Bad IMO blows its completely out of the water. Its the only show ever that when the main character is a middle aged man stripped down to his tighty whities that I still thought of him as a complete badass.

Does Walt really transform or does he just finally get the guts to do the stuff he always wanted to do? Stand up for himself, become rich, get out of his job that he felt was beneath him.

 

Going from a middle class family man, to a brazen criminal who leads a drug ring and is often time a cold killer? Thats a transformation even if it was his suppressed desire to do those things for so long.

I've tried numerous times to get into Breaking Bad. Can't do it. Just not good.

I just finished it a couple of weeks ago. I liked it but didn't think it was the greatest show ever as many of my friends. I found it to be incredibly show at times.

 

Saying all that, I still enjoyed it. And really enjoyed the last season or two after he killed Gus. I really thought it picked up quite a bit.
