Almost sounds like a marketable idea.

When you can't beat your child in a race...w a 10 yard head start. Not there yet, but I remember doing that to my Dad and it is getting fearfully close for me.

When the hot teenage girls look your way at the mall, they recoil in horror rather than flirt.

You wife wants to show you something on her phone and you always have to push it back about 2 feet further to see what it is.

When your wife wants you to show her something and you're too tired.

When you feel that tingle in your pants only to realize your phone is on vibrate.

When all your peers are retiring at work and those remaining ask when you are leaving.

When you checkout the cheerleader's mothers rather than the cheerleaders.

1.When in conversation with someone or a group, the flow of your comments gets stifled because you can't find the proper easy connector word, or name of someone or something that used to just fly out of your mouth naturally, and you sit there befuddled and stuttering just waiting for the word to come to you, all the while looking more unintelligent than you know down deep than you truly are.

If you're trying to make a point or even be witty, the substance dissipates because the timing of your flow is all out of whack, and the message gets lost on your audience because they've now lost interest waiting for you to finish your comment.

Then you sit flabbergasted that a name as common as say "John Lennon" wouldn't easily come to you, and your self-confidence starts to diminish because you're thinking that if this annoying aging trend keeps up, your future is looking mighty scary.

2. When you start noticing that your digital dexterity is not what it used to be, and while your mind is completely certain of how to complete the simple small task at hand, your hands themselves can't seem to hold on to items, and you repetitively keep dropping stuff making the simple job turn into a ridiculous series of comical errors that for your own self-confidence is not the least bit funny.

3. When you walk into a room to get something, and in a mere matter of seconds, forget what it was by the time you get there.

4. When you're quite content with calling it a night before midnight on New Year's Eve.

That's better than a tinkle. :lol2:

Number 3 happens to me all the time at work. Don't feel bad, I'm 24.

You know that you're getting older when your primary focus and preoccupation when going out to socialize (like at a concert for example) is trying to fool people into thinking that you're younger than you really are.

I don't recall feeling this way so much years ago, and although it's a bit embarrassing to admit, I fiend a bit off the idea of someone guessing me at much younger than I am, and then gasping or looking shocked if they've under guessed my age by a lot.

I used to be good at guessing ages, and now I'm terrible at it, and chances are younger people are good at sensing when someone is older, and although I'd like to believe I'm coming off as younger, with younger people, I'm probably not fooling them one bit.

At those "guess your age" things at amusement parks, I always win the prize because they always guess me younger.

When your wife wants you to show her something and you're too tired.

......and then you have to wait another month for her to "show you something".

But of course when that happens, you forgot to get that prescription filled.

When you wish the people around you at Riverbend would sit down and shut up
