We've already covered that coincidence in this thread. I am simply talking about whether or not he moved. Do you know if he moved? If he moved then it becomes a legitimate change of address and that is a whole other animal.

exactly!!! Been waiting for somebody to say that. It's ridiculous what's going on. Nothing against the kids tho. I'm all for a kid trying to get more exposure and improve their chances of getting noticed by colleges . But what happened to kids being loyal to their school and the kids they grew up with and playing with.

This is backed up by test scores. From Kentucky.com, I have obtained test score rankings for high schools in Kentucky. These are from 2013 (latest I could find).

 

Scott County---74

East Jessamine---123

Madison Central---126

Harrison---136

I don't have an argument. I'm simply saying I don't care if kids transfer and noting the hypocrisy people have when they don't complain about kids transferring in to their schools. Can't have it both ways and every school in the state has accepted a transfer or transfers at one time or another.

Don't be surprised to see more kids from that same AAU program, and some other programs transfer. Happens all the time. Im sure it's in the works. What's good for the goose (AAU) is good for the gander (school ball). Sad, but true...

Ronnie Carson was the second leading scorer in the state last season and played at East Jessamine County.

Isaiah Johnson played at Madison Central last season and at Harlan as a sophomore

DJ Jenkins was the top player at Harrison County last season.

Banks isn't a returning starter but in the regional opener against Lexington Catholic, Coach Hicks sat Raekwon Long for disciplinary reasons and Banks was the starter that night.

 

He's also one of the only kids on last year's team (other than returning starter Hines Jones) who saw any meaningful minutes at the Sweet 16. While those were very limited minutes of spot duty, it served as an indication to me that he'd be playing a lot this season depending on whatever else the Cards ended up with over the summer.

Any word on Carson and Jenkins' eligibility?
