You all are from the 9th you should be used to seeing crappy officiating by now.

I'm told the home plate ump immediately signaled "home run."

 

If this is the case, then what reason would they have to overturn the initial call???

I'm usually not in favor of changing the outcome of a game after the fact, but in this case it seems it may be warranted.

Seeing as the next games are already ongoing, it may be hard to overturn now.

Ashland is up 12-0 in the 4th against Highlands. I guess there is no way to change it now.

Really can't hold it against Ashland that the Ump/Khsaa booted the call.

If Ashland had not started their subsequent game then I say the KHSAA could override the call. It is a call that would have ended the game.

 

Sounds like Ashland caught a break.
