Yes it is always interesting to see how the young boys in Ft Thomas play as a team after beating up on one another for 6 years. With the way the system has been set up the last couple of years in the FTJFL, I have personally coached 90% of the kids in the league. There is some very good talent coming through again the next couple years. Not the 2009 Sr dominating talent but Highlands talent. I will take Highlands talent over a Super loaded class any day of the week. History proves that they will be just fine. There will probably be some hiccups along the way this year with the new Frosh coach with his real game coaching experience but they will get it worked out everything will be fine in Ft Thomas for years to come.

-Crosley New(RB) Younger brother of Carter New from a few years back

-Griffen Huber(RB) Oldest sibling. I think family transferred here from Lexington 14 years ago:D

-Braiden Posey(WR)

-Matt Schoellman(QB)

-Nick Venneman(WR) Younger brother of Sr to be burner Alex Venneman.

-Franky Baker(FB)

-Jacob Noe(WR) Can absolutely turn it on in open field. Big and aggressive.

-Carson Fitters(MLB)

-Keaton Huddleston(OL) Younger brother of Billy Huddleston a few years back.

-Joe Steiden(RB)

-Matt Shearer(QB) Son of All American DE Dan Shearer who played at Georgetown.

-Daniel Losey(RB):sssh: He's the sleeper here. Only has played about 4-5 organized football games. Wow the kid is a gamer!

 

A very loaded class with a bunch of skilled players but there will be a few players(kids) that will have to take one for the team and get down on one hand. Not everyone can touch the ball! New Head Coach Brady Dowling will have a "Good" problem of having too many skilled players. Should be fun to watch!

Their middle school team last year was pretty good, but not real big. Last year was the first year since joining the NKMSAA they didn't reach the championship, losing twice to Woodland.

 

Who will be the frosh qb if Nelson Perrin is playing jv or varsity?

Woodland won vs Turkeyfoot who was also very good. They each won a game a piece against each other. Those schools both have some big guys moving up.

Sorry didn't realize he was the same Butler. He played out of position last year at SS. He is a natural LB.

In the CCH system, I believe a SS plays a lot like an LB so it will all work out.

Look for Dixie's freshman team to turn some heads this year as the kids from Turkeyfoot move up this year.
