Huggins is a wackjob. Beetle will kick butt this coming basketball season, hopefully get some other offers way better than West Virginia. He can do way better that West Virginia.

I first saw him play when he was either in 8th or 9th grade. He made a move on the run at midcourt that immediately made me get my phone out and text a buddy saying "wait til you see this kid."

As a Jayhawk fan, I am thrilled I will get to watch Beetle play a few times. Have made the trip to Morgantown, now have another reason to go there. Be rooting for you kid, except when you visit The Phog.

The sweat in the palm of their hands has yet to dry and you got him going some place else,,does*nt say much for a handshake..Where is you think he is going, as you put it, that is better than WVU?

Congrats to James! The kid can absolutely fill it up and has an excellent drive and passion. Have coached against him multiple times and the young man is a "killer," on the court.

I hope he chose WVU on factors other than Huggins because I would be surprised if Huggins was still there 5 years from now. The man has health issues which I wish he would address now. Hopefully he does and they both enjoy Bolden's time at WVU.

I am just a really big fan of Mr Boldens. I have thought since I saw him as a freshman that if he improved every year he could go bigger than West Virginia. What is keeping him from playing at a UK or a Louisville, 2 programs much bigger than WV. I see him every bit as good as the harrison twins. I see him every bit as good as any guard Louisville has had. Whats holding him back from being an elite guard? His height? His physique? I don't see a weakness.

C'mon WVU is big time D-1 in a big conference. He made a great decision to go there. My only concern with this or any big program he could have gone is can he play defense against much bigger guards? He will see that constantly at this level. Huggins can teach that, though and he must think he can learn. he just hasn't had to at the high school level. Very rarely, if ever has he played against size defensively at guard. Offensively and creating points for himself and others is a huge upside for him.

 

I hadn't thought of the Van Exel comparison, but itt does make sense. How tall was Van Exel?
