May 14, 201412 yr The Reds have the 2nd lowest K percentage in the NL and highest number of productive outs. It makes no sense how they can't be getting runs in. I think they will start to do so shortly, but the injury issues shouldn't be ignored.

Pop ups to infielders, and grounders back to the pitcher AREN'T productive outs either, no difference then a strikeout, except a double play chance on the pop outs, and grounders back to the box. Bottom line this ISN'T a very good hitting team, period. Just look at there avgs. most are below .260, no good.

May 14, 201412 yr Author ^ Not at all. San Diego doesn't come back. So I'd imagine they will do what they can to play tonight, unless they will do a DH tomorrow. Not real sure. UPDATE: Vending Manager sent out an email at about 3:30pm and said that vendors would not be working tonight. It's only been my second season, but that hasn't happened before while I've been working. He did say there "may" be a double header tomorrow. Edited May 14, 201412 yr by MJAlltheWay24 Update
May 15, 201412 yr Can there be a DH tomorrow? I mean can there be based on the travel needs and the players union?
May 15, 201412 yr Can there be a DH tomorrow? I mean can there be based on the travel needs and the players union? Yes. Day/night DH tomorrow. First game at 12:10 and second at 6:10...

He did say there "may" be a double header tomorrow. In hindsight, it was the right call. But, I'm curious, if somehow they would've gotten the game in tonight, does that mean there would've been no one out walking the aisles tonight?
May 15, 201412 yr Are the Reds and Padres allowed to bring up a starting pitcher for the DH? Would be easy for Reds, not so much for Padres.
May 15, 201412 yr In hindsight, it was the right call. But, I'm curious, if somehow they would've gotten the game in tonight, does that mean there would've been no one out walking the aisles tonight? Correct. Concession stand only.
May 15, 201412 yr Are the Reds and Padres allowed to bring up a starting pitcher for the DH? Would be easy for Reds, not so much for Padres. I think there is a 26th man rule for DHs that they can utilize.
May 15, 201412 yr I think I saw Jeff Francis might be the 26th man Fully expect him to get the ball tomorrow night...
May 15, 201412 yr I know how this Reds team can win this division. don't play anymore games, like last night, and you gain ground, just by not playing, genius :thumb:
