April 30, 201412 yr There is a set of procedures in place. Essentially, the various prospective buyers all make bids and the other 29 NBA owners vote on who gets to make the purchase. Nobody gets admitted into the NBA as an owner without the others signing off. That all assumes that the other owners have a procedure to strip Sterling of his franchise and follow through with it. If there isn't a auction type sale, I wonder how a price is made? Hire an outside firm or firms to appraise the franchise compared to recent sales of other NBA franchises?

Would she liquefy that much to make the purchase? Personally, I don't think so. That's why she's in with a group of guys who probably have more "disposable" income that they can free up easier.
