I just read we are getting one in Ashland. What can you tell me about them? Any good?

Over rated, IMO.

You're insane!

It won't blow your mind or anything, but I like Jimmy Johns a lot. They make your stuff really fast, and it tastes way better than subway.

I'll agree it's better than Subway for sure, but neither is a particularly compelling sandwich.

and just what is a compelling sandwich ?

I go there often I like it. If you like the bread it will be a hotspot for you.

I'll know it when I see it.

If I could get Jimmy Johns' higher-quality ingredients on a hot sandwich, that'd be unreal.

I miss Jimmy John's! I love, love, love the Vito with oil and vinegar and some salt and vinegar chips.

Its good but if we are talking chain sandwiches I'll take potbelly or Jersey Mikes first. Luckily I live in area with a lot of Mom and Pop Deli's

I like their sandwiches, but find them somewhat slimy and have trouble keeping the meat and ingredients inside the bread.

A good sandwich that usually ends up having more lettuce than anything else. As mentioned, it doesn't beat Jersey Mike's, but it is better than Subway and Firehouse Subs. When needing a quick meal on the roads with kids' games, it's usually our go-to spot over the greasy fast food joints.

Nothing but cold-cuts. Very quick, won't overpay either.

IMO, much better than Subway and Penn Station.

Will politely disagree with you on this. If I had to pick one, it would be Firehouse Subs, hands down.

Solid overall review.

You forgot to add that they have great kettle chips.
