That's the point I was making earlier. When the law says stop and you don't listen and instead ignore them, they're going to force you to stop.

 

I think he moved with the car as we saw, she slowed enough for him to get in front, he's facing her maybe she pumps the gas once or starts to go and he's on the hood.

After reading his report he should have never shot her.

Yea that press release doesn't help either agency and like you said will leave a lot of people scratching their heads.

I'm glad the Sheriff asked for an outside agency to investigate. People were already saying he wouldn't and the investigation would be biased. This shows he didn't want any prejudice when it comes to this case. I applaud him for that.

Someone earlier said b/c the girl in the car didn't have a story matching the video everything she said was unreliable. We saying the same thing about the officer's story? 3 shots is not correct. Does that mean some of the rest of his story could be incorrect b/c of the stress of the situation?

 

It is probably my comment you are referring to. I said she appears to be lying because she said something like they didn't know he wanted them to stop when it's clear from the video that the driver did know. I probably could have eroded what I said differently.

 

 

Theres a difference in saying that and him admitting he only thought he fired 3 shots. Like some one else said in a high stress situation it's not hard to forget how many rounds you fired.

They could produce a video of her backing up and ramming him and then accelerating toward a tree to smash him against it and you would still say she did nothing wrong and he went out of his way to hunt her down just to shoot her.

 

Ridiculous. Do us a favor, if you ever need police for anything, your house is being broken into, you are caught in a dark alley and mugged, one of your kids runs away or whatever, do us a favor and don't bother calling 911 because apparently cops are nothing but murderers in your eyes.

It's true UK, no matter what is presented to you, you've been against the police from day 1 and you make a statement about after reading his report he shouldn't have shot her...if you simply were going by his report alone how did you even come to that conclusion?

I am not against anybody I just don't think he should have shot her. I was right that he hurt is foot jumping off the car.

How he got on the hood etc. is all speculation. We weren't there but going by the only evidence we have seen, the video, she simply could have stopped but chose to try and flee instead. So the worst case scenerio both parties have some fault in what transpired, but she was the one who put what transpired into affect. Was he wrong? I don't know, I don't have enough information but I do know that the one responsible for letting the situation escalate is her and Unfortunatly she is no longer with us and the sad thing is it all could have been avoided.

 

You want to point fingers at the officer as do the people on the FB site you mentioned earlier, yet not one of you have admitted who caused the entire incident to go south, and unfortunatley it was her.

 

 

Sorry, I didn't answer your question. You asked in my eyes I thnk she's a criminal. Well my definition of a criminal is someone who breaks the law. Her disobeying a lawful order and fleeing makes her a criminal, so yes she was a criminal. Does that mean she deserved to die? I didn't say that did I?

I read one story where they said she might have thought he was waving her to move on and they had loud music. I just don't understand the report it says she accelerated her car and turned trying to hit him but in the video he is next to the drivers door if she accelerated she would have passed him up.
