March 29, 201412 yr First off...Russ Smith is the man. I respect and admire what he did after the game. It takes a man to do that. I'm not sure if I could have done it. Second...the Harrison's have improved their draft stock for sure, right?? Andrew is playing awesome and Aaron came up huge as well. Randle is amazing. Guy busts his butt to get rebounds on both ends. Love watching him play. Dakari played fantastic. I think UK missed WCS on defense but Dakari came up huge on the offensive end. I loved seeing Poythress come up huge. I don't know him but he seems like a good person and I'm happy for him. I'm also happy for Cal. Hopefully this will get some of the haters off his back...at least for a little while.

March 29, 201412 yr I'm also happy for Cal. Hopefully this will get some of the haters off his back...at least for a little while. I gave up on that a long time ago. If anyone's waiting for a big-time college basketball coach who doesn't come off like a pompous windbag, don't hold your breath. This is the era of big TV and it turns out they all sound like that. Calipari is the man of the moment. It's his time. He may not have invented the era of the one-and-done. He may not even like it. But he's become the master of working it to his advantage. The talent he assembles at UK on an annual basis is unreal. And 2011, 2012 and now this year bear out that he knows how to make them into a team if you give the guys enough time. It's Cal's time right now.
