Do the crazies have to get their cheers approved?

 

You have to give a lot of credit to the CCH administration for both the support of the crazies and for their policing of the crazies. If anything or anyone gets out of line, there is someone from school administration right there getting it straightened out ASAP.

I think the Crazies should also get a state ring!!!

 

They were as much a part of the team as anyone if you ask me.

My sources say this is a credited class at CCH.

Speaking of the 9th Region, I wish more schools had a better student prep sections for their games. The best I've seen by far is CCH, Cooper and NCC. What I love even more is that both CCH and NCC are far smaller schools than most and have bigger prep sections.

 

When is CCH getting a new gym, their prep section takes over half of the bleachers..

They're approved until they're not. Mr Hartman polices the cheers.

Along the same lines. I was at a girls BBall game this year at Boone and was really happy to see that Boone's students turned out in force, I can't remember if it was a district tourney game or a game right before districts started. Either way they had a ton of students show up and I thought it was really cool that they would show up for a girls bball game. I was also worried because I was sitting right behind them and wondered if I should move so I could see when they were standing and hear myself think when they were cheering etc.

 

Unfortunatley they all sat on their hands the entire game and no cheers were given. Pretty disappointing. It was nice to see them show up and support their team and all, but was a little disappointing they didn't cheer and the parents were louder than their entire student section was during the game.

Judging by CCH enrollment numbers it looked like 75% of the school was there.

I have spoken with a CCH graduate who claims it is indeed a class, though we didn't discuss whether it was for credit or not.

I think that there were several schools that increased their cheering sections this year. I saw a nice showing from Cooper, St Henry, Ryle, and Dixie, just to name a few. 9th region schools have the opportunity to learn from the best--- CCH.

The Blue Crew at Montgomery Co was formed after the Indians played a game at Cov Cath and a student who made the trip decided to organize the kids in Mt Sterling.

They aren't the crazies but they do have rehearsals and are entertaining.

Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.

I think he was pulling your leg. It is not class, the boys do this on their own.

I will say that I loved watching them all week. I have seen them at Football and they are just as great. I loved it when the basketball team went to the ropes and raised up the state championship shirts to the crazies in a salute to the support they give. Totally awesome school spirit and the true epitome of what school culture is all about. I think the rest of the states administrators need to look at this model on school culture because it is breath taking to watch. Has to be fun going to school there if you are a kid.

I've noticed the same thing. As a Cov Cath fan, it's always MUCH more exciting seeing BOTH schools have solid student sections at the game.

I am not a CCH alum, but I've had the pleasure of sending boys through CovCath. The Colonel Crazies are an extension of the total inclusiveness, fellowship and fraternity that embodies CCH.

It's something that you really can't understand until you've witnessed and enjoyed the experience. Tuition to this school is the easiest check I write ! Any Colonel that has ever experienced playing in front of the Crazies, realizes and appreciates their value and contribution.
