Mr. lawildcat's game got cancelled. Brossart is cancelled. I guess we will venture out to the BOK tonight!

Just heard CovCath is dismissing early.

Will not be surprised the game get cancelled.

I believe they have upped the snow totals.

NCC is dismissing at 1:45 today.

 

All evening activities have been cancelled...except for the game at the BOK which cannot be rescheduled.

Who's giving us updates tonight?

I can't imagine how Kenton County rationalizes their decision to allow ONE team to play.

Time for SBII to get a little cyanical....

 

KC cancels all evening activities and dismisses early. CovCath dismisses early. NCC dismisses early and cancels all evening activities.

 

Why? Because it will become an issue of safety with a possible snowfall accumulation.

 

 

So all schools are concerned for the safety of the students but are allowing basketball games to take place. Dismissing early so the kids can get home safe before the storm starts but then playing a game that will attract hundreds of those same students out into the weather to support their classmates. Just doesn't add up to me.

Hard to claim athletics isn't the most important thing to these schools when you make these kind of decisions...

Nothing surprises me.

 

If this game does indeed get played and we get a decent amount of accumulation, then it will just add to the goofiness and be ironic considering all the games that Dixie has been forced to miss over the last two years when there was no accumulation.

I know its a tough night to cancel, probably best night for hs sports in nky this year but I don't see how the games can be allowed to go on. I will be home safe amd warm with my wife and girls
