I'm still waiting for confirmation.

 

But it's looking like Dixie will have to wait until next week to tie the consecutive game win streak.

And I've been informed that a Dixie player says the game is still on. So much confusion. I guess I'll wait for the county or the school to make an official announcement.

Looking back through Twitter, The Bank of Kentucky Center tweeted about 21 minutes ago that the games were still on. That's the closest official announcement I've seen so far.

DHHS Athletics just tweeted the game is on.

Upon going to the Bank of Kentucky Center to see what they were saying about the games tonight, I found this and I think many need to read this if your going to be attending the game tonight or the 35th Districts Games later this month about Parking!

Parking Close To The Arena

All guests who wish to park close to the arena should Parking is available at the the Welcome Center Garage & Lot O on a first-come, first-serve basis. Refer tp the NKU Campus Map. If traveling East Bound on I-275, DO NOT take exit 76 (3 Mile Road). Take Exit 77 towards Alexandria Pkwy/US-27

Once these lots are full guests will be directed to other event lots: University Garage, Lots D E, F, & I. Refer to the NKU Campus Map.

Anyone entering NKU campus off the 3-Mile exit going East Bound on I-275 will be diverted to Lots E & F due to traffic patterns set in place for higher attended events.

ADA Parking Information

All Patrons who need ADA Parking should enter campus off of Nunn Drive accessible off of US-27/Alexandria Pkwy. If going East Bound on I-275, DO NOT take exit 76 (3 Mile Road). Take Exit 77 towards Alexandria Pkwy/US-27

ADA Parking is available at the Welcome Center Garage & Lot “O”. Space is limited.

ADA Drop-Off Information

ADA Drop off close to the arena is available in front of the arena at the drop-off circle. Guests that drop-off in the drop-off circle will be directed to park in Lot “O” if space is still available. Refer to NKU's Campus Map.

 

ADA Pickup Information

If ADA pick-up is necessary, one may do so at the drop-off circle only after campus traffic has subsided as attempts to pick-up ADA at the drop-off circle too early, may lead vehicles to be diverted away from the arena.

Shuttle Service – There is no shuttle service for this event.

If the swimming prelims were cancelled, I'd venture to say the Brossart/Scott game will be as well. That stinks.

Scott/Brossart has been canceled by the KC BOE...

I have been informed by a Dixie student that the Dixie basketball team will be arriving to NKU at 1:30 this afternoon so they are able to be there to play.

 

This has been confirmed. Leaving at 1:30... lots of court time.

The worst part of school dismissing early is that I now have to go to nku today to get my presale tickets instead of Dixie.

Really confused by this whole process, especially with the history of KC BOE.

 

I would not want to be the person manning the phones at Dixie or the BOE for all the parents calling wanting to know why swimming, wrestling, or the games involving Scott and SK will be cancelled but not a regular season basketball game.

 

I am not naïve. I know there was probably pressure from the other schools and the BOKC, but it goes against previuos decisions.
