No doubt that it seems a bit contradictory to cancel school and all other activities and still hold the games at the BOK, however in past recent weeks when games have been cancelled many called it unnecessary, and now that these games appear to be happening tonight some are pointing out the hypocrisy of that.

 

It sorta looks like a damned if they do, damned if they don't situation.

 

Certainly it's a bit of a different and unusual circumstance that would make re-scheduling these games at the BOK a bit difficult, and not just a normal situation when games are re-scheduled to be played onsite at one of the high schools.

 

If The Norse were scheduled to play tonight their game would not be cancelled.

 

No body is twisting anyone's arm to brave the elements to attend.

 

It theoretically could be cancelled and games rescheduled to be played at the originally scheduled sites, but then the floor moisture issue comes back into play with temps soon to rise with rain.

 

I'm not suggesting there's a perfect solution one way or another but certainly the weather has made making the final decision a bit complex. I wouldn't want to be the one making the decision because no matter what you're not going to please everyone. :idunno:

I don't doubt for a second if CovCath / Dixie was still scheduled to be played at CovCath, there is very little chance (if any) that it would be on as scheduled.

Lol not scared at all. And while some of my best friends are cov Cath alums and I have great relationships with many others affiliated with CCH, I just don't go there when I can get the same thing accomplished somewhere else.

I'm wondering why Boone had no school at all today. This is twice this year Boone cancelled school due to a forecast and nothing happened.

 

I'm getting upset because it is getting to the point where I may end up missing my boys graduation because of work and being out of town the first week of June.
