January 22, 201412 yr ESPN usually comes up with a random, usually bad idea from time to time. Jimmy Dykes comes up with something dumb every game I feel like. Combine them together and you have a baseline cam. Had a friend say that all Jimmy Dykes managed to do was shrink my 60" to a 40" inch.
January 22, 201412 yr I agree with you, partner, you have to drive through the nail and then make violent cuts. I guess I'm in the minority but I like the Nessler/Dykes team. Speaking of Jimmy, I was recently told that in between coaching gigs some years back, he was the athletic director at a high school in Arkansas and who did he hire as football coach? None other than Gus Malzahn. (Don't know if this is true.)

I swear the FT % of guys when they go to the below the rim camera angle has to be around 40%.
January 23, 201412 yr I also thought it was pretty silly. For as of Dykes, he beats Bobby Knight by a mile. The only one I refused to listen to was Billy Packer. The sound on the TV was off anytime he did a UK game.
January 23, 201412 yr Absolute joke, all that baseline reporting did was they went to a split screen, blocking the full camera view. I want to see the best picture that I can on the screen, not Dykes backside.. Should they want to do that, dump the camera behind him and let him talk, entire thing is useless, not needed at all.. J.D. is getting more and more annoying by the game, he tries to make the game more about him than the actual game.

Makes me remember when back in the day when I would turn the t.v. sound off and radio on to listen to the best ever - Cawood Ledford ! For any of our bgp members that aren't old enough, I feel sorry that you missed the times when Cawood called the Wildcat games, a person could be listening and without a t.v. (yes, there was a time when we didn't get every game televised :lol2:) get a clear picture of exactly what was happening on the floor

You had to listen to the radio to follow the Cats unless they were TAPE DELAYED.
