The "witch hunt" comes from baseball trying to brand ARod as the Godfather of the steroid era and exhausting all efforts to do so. They attempted it with Bonds but to no avail, sort of. He continued to hit HRs right back in to Selig's face. They (players) all know it is a hypocritical mess.

January 13, 201412 yr The most damaging evidence I saw was the text back and forth...pretty clear at least to me what they were discussing. Wasn't there also a bank statement from Bosch that showed an initial deposit from ARodCorp (or something like that) for $49,000 paid to Bosch during the time he alleges Alex was trying to keep him from cooperating with MLB? I think the 60-Minutes piece said his lawyer returned the check, though. Again, it'd be interesting to see what ARod would claim that check to be for.
January 13, 201412 yr I wonder if the pressure of that Texas contract drove him to start using PEDs. 10 years at $25,200,000 per put a lot of pressure on him to perform. He was on the path to HoF after Seattle years if he maintained what he was doing and incrementally increased as all players seem to in the middle of their career. I've said it before and I'll say it again...If I'm A-Rod, I admit that I'm never going to win in the court of public opinion and never going into the HoF. I'd take my money, but an island somewhere and you'd never see my butt again. If TMZ wanted to know which Super Model was hanging at my place, they could rent a plane and fly over and get a shot of us at the pool.

I would definitely say Bosch would make a much better witness if he testified from behind a curtain. Just looking at him makes me feel like I need a shower.

January 19, 201412 yr I'll say it again, I think this whole case is about one thing and one thing only-- the New York Yankees know they made a bad deal with the contract they signed A-Rod to and will do anything to get out of it.

January 19, 201412 yr I'll say it again, I think this whole case is about one thing and one thing only-- the New York Yankees know they made a bad deal with the contract they signed A-Rod to and will do anything to get out of it. It will be interesting to see if they get out of it. They still owe him $61 million after the suspension
