A-Rod suspended for 162 games

Just saw on the bottom line that the players want to kick ARod out of the union. One player said when he comes up to bat he needs to be hit hard and that he should be scared of facing the people he wants to sue.

I'll be shocked if he ever plays again. Nobody is going to talk to him or defend him. He's done.

I don't think ARod cares about being liked. I can't wait until he shows up for Spring Training, Tampa is going to be a media circus.

I don't think he does either but I think he's going to get the cold shoulder/silent treatment. The whole veterans telling rookies if we see you even look at him your career is over type stuff going on.

And yeah, I hope he shows up at Spring Training. I'm excited about it.

That probably only strengthens A-Rod's case against the Player's Union and that there's some type of conspiracy against him.

Not sure. As long as the union did what it was supposed to do while representing him then they should be fine. What the union leadership does and what the players in the union do are two different things.

I heard Cowherd mention this briefly in the form of a question last week. Would you hire ARod as an analyst?

I doubt I would. He's just so polarizing. I'm not sure he'd be a good one anyways.

Polarizing always sells. I am not sure he is polarizing in the sense you either like or dislike ARod. He is around 95/5 dislike/like. But I agree I don't believe he would be that good at it.

He doesn't seem engaging and he's been self centered his whole career it seems like his analysis would start of with him saying what he would do in those situations.

Alex: I haven't played catcher since my Little League days when I would play a new position every game. Except for right field. That was for the worst kid on the team...but I would have put the throw at the bottom of second base. I did play a little shortstop in my day so I know where the shortstop wants to catch the ball in that situation. (does the creepy turn and smiles into the camera)

I almost home that A-Rod gets an injunction and gets to play this season. I'd like to see him set the single season hit-by-pitch record before the end of May.

I wonder if he charged the mound if his teammates would come out of the dugout and go after him?

I'm with you.

He'd be the first person to charge a mound and have both dugouts clear out to come whip him. That would be hilarious.
