I don't blame the refs that the Chiefs lost. The Chiefs had several opportunities to win...but I still don't excuse them for stupid mistakes just because players screw up too. Some calls will be missed...holds, illegal blocks...but this one should have been easy. Either way this didn't hurt or help me one bit. Hopefully all calls are correct in the playoffs.

If the dummy WR for the Steelers (can't remember if it was Sanders or Brown) doesn't step out of bounds against the Dolphins it's a moot point. That single play cost them more than this no-call.

I would think the NFL is getting a little tired of having to announce every week the their refs made a mistake in a crucial situation. Be interesting what the competition committee advises this coming year.

They just got off to a bad start. Definitely started coming on lately but just left too much in the hands of other teams. A few improvements next year and they will be dangerous.

Bottomline is, no matter if you want to admit it or not, the refs blew the caall and cost the steelers a post seasonn berth.

 

We can taalk all night baout all the plays the steelers could have made all season to change the outcome but guess what? they didnt..that doesnt mean we should simply say the refs didn't cause them a playoff spot because guess what..it did.

Didn't read your post. Not buying it. The Steelers losing to Oakland, Tennessee and Minnesota cost them. Not that one blown call.
