Liver and Onions: Are you a fan?

Featured Replies

Not even close to a fan. Was forced to eat it as a kid, haven't had it in probably 30 years, and have no plans on revisiting.

THIS^

LOVE Liver and Onions but it has to be properly prepared otherwise it gets very tough. My mother used to make it very well. I tried once and it wasn't a success.

Also a HUGE fan of fried chicken livers but that's a different story.

Believe it or not, Frisch's Big Boy used to serve Liver & Onions up until about 2 years ago. That might be the only thing from their menu that I never tried over the years.

Won't go out of my way for it, but won't push it away either.

I love liver and onions

Ummmmm, yes, a fan. And I like chicken gizzards, livers, and necks too. Also like chitt'lins too..at least I think that's what I had when in Valdosta, GA. If it was, then I like em.

Same here!

Love the smell of it cooking, but just cannot bring myself to try it...

Won't go out of my way for it, but won't push it away either.

Same here. If serve it to me, I will be polite and eat it but it certainly is not what I would order off the menu. Certainly towards the bottom quarter of items I would order.

I'm a much bigger fan of fried chicken livers, but I will eat liver and onions on occasion.
