December 17, 201312 yr I was a big Cats fan until joining this site. I can honestly say, most of the Kentucky fans on here have put me on the verge of not liking them at all. So yes I can see where they are now the most hated team in college basketball.
December 17, 201312 yr I definitely get why people don't like Duke... and that goes far beyond Kentucky fans. I have friend who was born and raised in Bloomington, went to IU and is a huge Hoosiers fan. Hates Duke. Only team he hates more might be Illinois... Purdue if they feel like trying to play sports that year. For me, I always found Kentucky fans' hate of Duke so amusing that I've always had sort of a soft spot for them. I'm sure that will change when Louisville starts seeing them one to three times per year in the ACC.

December 18, 201312 yr If I didnt live in KY I honestly probably couldn't care less about UK. But alas, I live in KY and have to live with UK fans. Again, most people I know hate UK for their fans.
December 18, 201312 yr ^ I am actually lying about that, I'm very jealous of how much more success UK has had than Duke in the 1920's.
