He has a championship. He ended a 13 year drought. He also ended the Final Four drought the year before.

All players want to jump to the NBA if they could. Tubby recruited 4 year players and it didn't please the blue bloods. Cal recruits the best players and gets ridiculed for it.

I want the best players and if they leave after a year then congrats to them for earning a living.

He has 1 championship with a team that had LEADERSHIP, this team does not have LEADERSHIP. I'm saying in order to get LEADERSHIP on a team that team is gonna have to have players there for 2-3 years.

They are 19 and 20 year old kids ,all dream of the NBA and the millions . I am 45 with 3 years of elgibility left and love KY basketball and bleed blue but let him recruit me and give me a shpt and 1 and one I ll take the money . Don't like mu chances tho but I would take the money run .Remember Rodney Dents knee injury possibly cost him millions .

For the one's that do go pro, Congrats to them and the best of luck to them. I just don't like the one and done philosophy. If players wanna go to the NBA and not have to wait, then I think the rule should be changed to were kids can go straight to the NBA without going to college first, either that or make kids stay in college at least two years.

You really think he would stop them from going after a year? No coach is going to keep a player from going if the player is projected in the first round.

Probably not but their's a lot of schools out there that have LEADERSHIP on their teams and that's because they get players to stay more than a year.

I remember the Billy CLYDE ERA and yes this is much better, a lot better matter of fact. I'm just tired of all these's one's and done's. I want Championships, not players that wanna jump ship to the NBA once they get here.

Coach K refused to allow Parker to play for his team this year, he said he was to talented and would only want to be there for one year............not..... but this is what you want the UK coach to say to talented players?

Can't really be shocked to see the team Belmont beat, win this one, even if they struggled to do so.

FIXED

Coaches do not "get" their kids to stay more than a year, they stay because they aren't going to be drafted high enough.

I just think that if Kentucky wants National Titles then they are gonna have to get players to stay there more than a year in order to get good LEADERSHIP on a team. That's all I'm trying to say.

They don't get players to stay. They stay because they are not projected to go in the 1st round. Do you want Cal to not recruit any players that might be a 1 and done?

Exactly

I guess some want them to be in recruiting battles with EKU and Vandy?

He has 1 championship

Which is 1 more than we had in 12 years.

I guess some want them to be in recruiting battles with EKU and Vandy?

Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Auburn, WKU, etc

The crying on this thread has made my day.

Thanks y'all.

If only we would aim as high as OSU.
