Could It Really Happen Bengals #1 Seed

I'd be thrilled with the #2.

Me too.

Nope

Kinda funny to get on BGP after the end of tonight's game and read this thread title.

I'll say NO.

Tonight is HUGE for the Bengals. Lose tonight and there is a scenario out there where they don't even make the playoffs. They lose a tie-breaker with both the Ravens and the Fins.

Exactly. I think too many people have already put the Bengals in the playoffs when in reality some of their losses could potentially really hurt them. The loss to the Browns and the loss to the Dolphins really could kill them this year.

Tonight is as close to a must win without mathematically really being a must win. It is a huge game.

I had already mentioned this possibility in another thread. That is why I was actually rooting for the Pats, not the Dolphins.

#1seed, haha, they may not even be the division champ or even make the playoffs. Wishful thinking.

Please let this happen. :lol2:

Total meltdown. Haha

If it stands as it is now and all the top seeds win or the Bengals win round one, the Bengals would go to the Pats and the Colts or 5 seed would go to the Broncos. As the #3 seed they would not have to go to Denver until the AFC Championship Game.

Love the enthusiasm and confidence Maniac. However, the Ravens are one game back now after last night and we need to win out to clinch.

So we are going to find out just how good our beloved, blasted, and in between Bengals are. Fake or for real? Have we pushed through bungledom and able to make a deep playoff run as you predict here? Or do they fall short and not make the playoffs at all?

I'd be happy with the playoffs and one playoff win for starters. Haven't done that for a long time :idunno:! Dalton, Marvin, and Gruden prevent me from believing they can win a playoff game, yet an AFC Championship. But I've been wrong before.

Just hoping they don't drop a BM and lose the last two losing out on a playoff win opportunity all together. :thumb:

The Bengals do not need to win out to clinch. The Ravens do play the Patriots this week, so that definitely is not an easy game for them. So if the Bengals win and the Ravens lose this week then the Bengals clinch the division this week.

This week is pretty much a must win for the bengals because if they lose then the ravens game is do or die...beat ravens you are in lose and you probably sit home.

I'm all for Ravens and Bengals winning this week and the dolphins losing. If that is the case, the last game will be for a 2 seed for us and if we lose, we still make playoffs but a much harder road.

I'm concerned about the chances of either taking place fc. If we win out we don't have to rely on outside help. Next time I'll qualify the statement. Thanks for the "outside help" insights.

Go Bengals!

From possible #1 to possible not in the playoffs at all, in one week. Go Bungles.

Bengals missing the playoffs would be the ultimate comedy of errors. Or as I like to call it, just another season.
