You mean all the times I used this space to prove how silly the UK fans gloating about the SEC really is? Guilty as charged. I did grow up enjoying a few Big East programs like Georgetown, Syracuse and UConn but that's about it. And the funny part is UC is still in a better hoops conference than UK... :lol2:

Funny how that works. I agree completely with you. I have no issue with this thread at all. I am responding only to the specific comment about not cheering for a conference. Almost everybody I know, cheers for their conference against other conferences.

While the dig at UK guy may be warranted, the SEC chest thumping comes from every one of the schools. Have you seen the new commercials running for ESPN about the SEC network? They are taking soundbites of people cheering "SEC". You've listened to national radio broadcasts. Say "the SEC is not strong" and see how many phone calls you take from powerful SEC teams that have a lot to cheer for.

For someone who claims people don't cheer for conferences, you sure do spend a lot of time spewing hate at the SEC and B1G. I guess people aren't supposed to cheer for conferences, just against them.
