I'm simply making a few counter points to the fact that the SEC is an all encompassing power that has now 14 teams better than anyone else that plays the game. Two outsiders were added and have made quite a name for themselves. The SEC juice would make one believe it would take at least a few years for those two programs to pass UK, Vandy, Ole Miss, Miss St, USCe and be on the same level as Florida, Georgia, Auburn and Bama. Pointing out their "weak" SEC schedules is pointing at the same schedules the national title teams have faced over the BCS era. The entire thing drips of irony, and as I said in my first post, is the curtain being pulled back...

December 5, 201312 yr I've seen a couple of posts in this thread that say the SEC sucks. I'm not sure I know what that means, but it doesn't sound very good. Compared to the last few seasons the SEC sucks this year. Which is what I have said. I have also said it is the best conference also. Which it is. It still sucked this year. Georgia lost to Clemson who is horrible. Florida won 2 more games than UK this year. Say that out loud without laughing. 2 Time Defending National Champ Alabama got outplayed and out coached by an Auburn team that was even worse than Florida this year. LSU sucked this year. Missouri won the SEC East over South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida. Missouri? Missouri? Yeah, the SEC sucks this year. And yet they still are better than all the other conferences. Fact.

December 5, 201312 yr Yeah, the SEC sucks this year. And yet they still are better than all the other conferences. Fact. It comes down to a couple of things and this is one of them. The bottom of all conferences are bad. The top teams are the top teams. But in the middle is probably where the SEC stands above most on a consistent basis. With that is the talent in the SEC. That is a non-debatable issue. The pro talent it produces is staggering.
