Another fact check. That Highlands team still isn't the same makeup of this team and I say that without saying that this team is better than that Highlands team. That Highlands team is different than this BG team and I still maintain that Pulaski County likely hasn't seen a team like this BG team in the history of their school. I didn't say it was the best team they have seen in the history of their school.

Hoss, congrats to JH. You said all along they were the only 5A team capable of beating BG this year and they nearly did. Best of luck next year when the playing field will be much more level.

I'm drinking the purple kool-aid

I think there is far more of a chance for a total blowout by BG than there is for a Pulaski upset. Although Pulaski beat Anderson, I think Anderson was slightly better...and even though I'm an Anderson fan, no way would they have much of a chance against BG. So I would by default have to say the same for Pulaski. 41-10 BG with weather playing a factor. Maybe bigger than that if weather is a non-factor.

The Purples are a very good team, great offensively, but, only good defensively, but, I think there fans are shortchanging how good Pulaski Co is. No, they've not played the schedule that BGreen has played, but, they've not played a bunch of sisters of the poor either. I doubt that BG has a player in the calibre of Mad Southerns RB, so, they've seen D1 players. BG will have the best combination of running and passing that they've seen and for them to have a chance, they'll have to slow down one or the other, not necc shut down, but, at least slow them down enough to get a few stops in the game. They'll also need to win the turnover battle and avoid penalties. BG will be the heavy favorite and rightfully so, but, Pulaski didn't get to 14-0 by not being a very solid, all around team. The Maroons will need to have a few breaks go there way, but, if all is fairly equal in turnovers and penalties, I think BG wins this one by a couple of TDs. I do think Pulaski puts up 3 or 4 scores on the Purples and I don't see it being a blowout, at all.

If the team that beat Blackman shows up it will be 48-14. If the team that played John Hardin shows up it will still be 35-28 BG.

I get what you're sayin Cardinal Fan and anything can happen. BUT the closest games Pulaski has had have been against Mad South (3 pts each on 2 games) and Anderson Co. With Mad South, they have a very good RB, no doubt. But to put together a defensive plan for them, shouldn't it be load the box and dare to pass. Can't do that with BG. Also can't go the other way because it's been displayed Tisdale, Pillow and Hayes can all run the ball. So the plan is to keep it out of their hands. BG's defense may not be great as you say, but they'll be ready and unlike against JH they won't let off the gas this time.

If BG remains focused and knocked JH out while they had the chance, most wouldn't say "good", as they've played over the season better than that. The Blackman game for example they keep BG in the game.
