Just a gut feel. I think NCC's run defense will bring the Colt's running game to near normalcy. If their passing game is average, in my mind, that makes the game fairly even. I am familar with 3 years in a row of playoff battles with DeSales. All 3 were nail biters.

I hope so, the Breds run defense over the last 9 games has been very good, only giving up 75 yards per game.

Will this game be streamed on the internet. If so, does anyone have the link?

Surely you don't really believe this. DeSales flat manhandled Murray tonight, but to think a matchup with Caldwell would have led to a blowout win for the Colts is absurd. Of course either response will have a never know answer. Caldwell flat got out coached last week. Murray got beat at their own game this week. DeSales strength lays in their runnung game. Passing game is about average. Definately the hot team right now though in 2A. I thought all year that DeSales and Caldwell were two of the top four teams in 2A. CAL would be the other with NCC a respectable 4th team. I would have loved a Caldwell and DeSales matchup. It was not to be. The Colts are definitely the favorite going into Saturday.

I meant the end result likely being the same. Meaning Desales winning, not necc the score.

I don't think NCC has to play a perfect game ...........but it sure would help. No turnovers and limited penalties could make the game interesting. I think with the weather it could be semi-low scoring and maybe the winning score in the 20s. I would definitely make DeSales the favorite and if they get a big lead it could be difficult for NCC.

I love it when teams fly under the radar, NCC you may want to hand this trophy to them before the game starts. I hope they DeSales continues to think they are better they must be good or they would not be there. There is a reason why they play the games. I will stick with NewCath as I have all year with the schedule they play each and every year they get better by year end. Good Luck NewCath and bring it back to NKY. JD

According to this poll, looks like Desales is the underdog and flying under the radar, not the other way around.

Does DeSales have any fans on this site? I don't recall seeing many. It will be interesting to see if the weather is clear on Saturday morning. I know that it will be cold. NewCath has an underrated passing game that can stretch the field pretty well. What they don't have is a bulldozer type of line. If they can't pass, it will make running difficult against a good to great DeSales defense. NewCath can't be a one trick pony (pun intended) and expect to win. They have to be able to keep 8 out of the box.
