6A final from Bowling Green.

Two teams that not many expected to be there.

Who do you like and why?

I'm going with Scott County, they've been consistent throughout the year.

I have said all year I expected Scott Co to win it all this year. Not going to change my mind now.

Agree, but there were a lot of people thinking Male, Trinity, or even a St. X or Simon Kenton would be the team that came out of that side of the bracket.

I really like Scott County's chances.

Have the Cardinals ever won a football state championship?

1975 i believe

Scott County.

Scott Co. lost in the finals in 2004 and 2011. I don't think they have a title yet. Should change that status next week.

This could be a classic slugfest. I have watched Larry Mofield for many years, and not much gets by him. He really just rather be fishing.

Scott County is the cream of the public crop. Cards by 21.

Correct, UKFan10. Scott County won the AA championship over Middlesboro in 1975. As an interesting side-note, Scott County and Meade County have met once before in the playoffs. Meade County defeated Scott County 49-27 in a AAA second round game in 1991, the same year Meade went on to make their only state final appearance, where they would lose to Bell County.

Henry Clay Coach Sam Simpson was on the 1975 Scott County state championship team.

I like Scott County to beat Meade County next week for their second state championship.

There will be nothing sweeter for Coach McKee to win his first state title with his son quarterbacking the team. Now that is the ultimate for a high school coach.

I'll be the first to admit I was wrong about Scott Co.

Not going to pick against the Cards next week.

Meade County has a Senior running back listed at 5'9 240 and a Senior full back listed at 6'2 240.
